This shift in perception has led to the recognition that pre-service teachers enrolled in teacher preparation programs possess the potential to assume leadership positions. While numerous researchers have explored, few have undertaken a systematic literature review (SLR) on this subject. This research aims to address this gap by compiling comprehensive review of recent studies on pre-service teacher leadership published in journals between 2020 and 2023. Through theoretical analysis, the study synthesis sought to identify emerging research trends and generate novel insights into pre-service teacher leadership. The PRISMA writing standard (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) was employed as framework for SLR composition. The review utilized two primary databases, Web of Science and Scopus, to source relevant articles and materials. From initial pool of 733 articles, 22 were ultimately selected for analysis. Content analysis revealed five primary themes: "Teacher Development and Conceptions," "Curriculum Leadership and Teacher Education," "Women in Education and Leadership," "Leadership Styles and Teacher Impact," and "Mentoring and Professional Development." The findings highlight the dynamic nature of teacher education, emphasizing the necessity for programs to equip pre-service teachers with the skills to meet the evolving demands of modern classrooms and contribute meaningfully to national and societal objectives. The study's implications can serve as guide for pre-service teachers in preparing for more comprehensive planning and implementation of leadership in the future educational landscape. 2025-01-14T18:41:52+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT https://www.journal.unrika.ac.id/index.php/IJEM/article/view/7355 DECODING SYMBOLISM IN STATISTICAL MODELING: AN EXPLORATION OF STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING AND DESCRIPTIVE ANALYSIS 2025-02-02T18:09:05+07:00 sipnarong.k@siu.ac.th tubaguspamungkas.2017@student.uny.ac.id This study examined the critical role of symbolism in Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a tool for communicating complex statistical concepts and relationships. SEM employs a systematic framework of symbols, including latent variables (η), observed variables (y), factor loadings (λ), residuals (ζ), measurement errors (ε), and variance-covariance terms (Ψ and Θ), to represent theoretical constructs and their relationships. By analyzing these symbols, the study highlighted their importance in ensuring accurate model specification, enhancing interpretability, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The visual and mathematical language of SEM was shown to bridge the gap between abstract theoretical frameworks and empirical data, enabling researchers to test hypotheses, evaluate relationships, and generate meaningful findings with precision and clarity. The study also underscored the need for a deeper understanding of these symbols to support robust and reliable statistical modeling. Future research should focus on expanding this symbolic framework to accommodate advanced methodologies, such as multilevel modeling and longitudinal SEM, to address the growing complexity of analytical challenges. This study contributes to empowering researchers by enhancing their ability to effectively use SEM for innovation and communication in statistical analysis. 2025-01-16T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT https://www.journal.unrika.ac.id/index.php/IJEM/article/view/7360 THE OVERVIEW OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING MANAGEMENT AT SMP NEGERI 3 NUMFOR BARAT PAPUA 2025-02-02T18:09:06+07:00 mahmud041989@gmail.com albert.efendipohan@gmail.com mubikihtajuddin@gmail.com suriptospd0@gmail.com mahmud041989@gmail.com mahmud041989@gmail.com English language learning management is a process of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating English language learning activities aimed at creating a conducive and effective learning environment. This management involves the management of resources, teaching techniques, interactions between teachers and students, and monitoring students' language proficiency development. Therefore, English language learning management, particularly in remote areas, must be carried out effectively and efficiently to help students master both spoken and written English. This study aims to describe the condition of English language learning management at SMP Negeri 3 Numfor Barat, Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, with a focus on planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the learning activities. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include the headmaster, English teachers, and several students at SMP Negeri 3 Numfor Barat. The data were processed through stages of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the learning management functions implemented at SMP Negeri 3 Numfor Barat had not been carried out effectively and efficiently. These results can serve as a foundation for future research to develop a more contextual English language learning management model for junior high schools that aligns with the conditions and needs of schools in Papua. 2025-01-25T13:53:50+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT https://www.journal.unrika.ac.id/index.php/IJEM/article/view/7364 ANALYSIS OF MANAGEMENT MODELS FOR IMPROVING STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCE SMKN 3 KEMARITIMAN BIAK NUMFOR, PAPUA 2025-02-02T18:09:09+07:00 hamjahcolleng@gmail.com hamjahcolleng@gmail.com amandahrul@gmail.com syafrizalahmad11@gmail.com hamjahcolleng@gmail.com syawaludinritonga@gmail.com The background of this study is rooted in the need to enhance students' entrepreneurial competencies through entrepreneurship programs focused on processed fishery products at SMKN 3 Kemaritiman Biak Numfor, Papua.
