ANALISIS PERAN ASESMEN DALAM MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the role of assessment in improving the effectiveness of guidance and counseling (BK) services in educational institutions. The method used is a literature review, by collecting data from various sources, including relevant books and journals on the topic of assessment and counseling. The results showed that counselors' ability to conduct assessments has a significant influence on the quality of services provided. In addition, updating assessment methods to suit students' needs is essential to improve counselors' understanding of students' conditions. Effective training and mentoring also proved to improve the mastery of assessments by counseling teachers. This finding emphasizes that collaboration between counselors and schools in developing assessments can improve the responsiveness of counseling services, which in turn helps students reach their full potential. Thus, appropriate and sustainable assessments are key in improving the quality of guidance and counseling services in schools.
