Abstract

This community service program focused on improving the audio production capabilities of students at SMK Prima Unggul in Tangerang City by applying theoretical knowledge practically in audio-visual production. The initiative provided an introduction to essential audio techniques, including microphone selection, setup, and sound management. Employing a hands-on workshop format, the program enabled students to participate actively in audio recording and editing exercises. The evaluation revealed that students achieved a high proficiency in microphone selection, scoring an average of 9 out of 10. However, scores for microphone setup and sound management were lower, averaging 7.5 and 7 respectively, suggesting areas needing further enhancement. Overall, the program significantly improved the students' technical skills, preparing them for advanced tasks in audio production while emphasizing the need for ongoing practice and specialized training.
