THE ASSISTANCE OF VIDEO PRODUCTION FOR GUIDELINE ONLINE NPWP REGISTRATION FOR FOREIGN WORKERS IN BATAM

Abstract

A number of companies in Batam City, Riau Islands, have difficulty finding workers because they need workers with special skills. To overcome this, many companies recruit foreign workers for expansion purposes and for the need for skill levels. One of the problems faced by foreign workers is the difficulty in the process of making NPWP online through the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) website because there is no supporting feature to change the foreign language required by foreign workers, as well as the need for foreign workers to accompany them when filling out the NPWP application process. The production of this video applies the art practice research method as research (art-based research) that focuses on creative work that includes pre-production, production, and post-production of multimedia content. The output produced is a multimedia product, namely a 5–10-minutes video that combines live action and motion graphic content elements that explain the steps for making a NPWP according to government procedures. In general, the evaluation of user satisfaction shows very satisfactory results (55%) for the average based on all assessment indicators of the questionnaire instrument given to users.
