WELDING DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENERAP PENGUJIAN HASIL LASAN GAS TUNGSTEN ARC PADA SAMBUNGAN BUTT WELD
Abstract
Faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil interpretasi Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) salah satunya adalah focus depth. Oleh karena itu kedua cacat buatan tersebut akan di uji dari kedua sisi ketebalan 10,64mm dan 17,75mm dengan menggunakan setup focusing depth yang berbeda 10,15 dan 20mm. Pemilihan setup focusing depth ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan terhadap ketebalan material benda uji yaitu ketebalan 10,64mm dan 17,75mm. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan focus depth 15mm memberikan tingkat akurasi diatas 80% untuk ukuran dimensi cacat serta pengujian cukup dilakukan dari satu sisi saja yaitu dari pelat ketebalan 17,75mm.
