PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI MANAJER PROYEK TERHADAP KUALITAS KONSTRUKSI PABRIK DI PT X BATAM

Abstract


Komunikasi yang tidak optimal pada proyek konstruksi PT X Batam ditunjukkan oleh masih terjadinya rework yang berdampak pada keterlambatan penyelesaian pekerjaan. Kondisi ini mengindikasikan perlunya evaluasi terhadap efektivitas komunikasi Project Manager sebagai penggerak utama koordinasi teknis di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi Project Manager terhadap keterlibatan karyawan serta menilai implikasinya terhadap manajemen kualitas proyek. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan melalui pengolahan data kuesioner terhadap 32 responden yang mewakili owner, konsultan supervisi, dan kontraktor dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi Project Manager memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keterlibatan karyawan. Selanjutnya, keterlibatan karyawan terbukti memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap manajemen kualitas proyek. Sementara itu, pengaruh komunikasi Project Manager terhadap manajemen kualitas tidak terjadi secara langsung, melainkan melalui mekanisme mediasi keterlibatan karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa komunikasi yang terstruktur, jelas, dan responsif mampu meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi, dan kesadaran kualitas di antara anggota tim, sehingga berpotensi menurunkan risiko rework serta meningkatkan konsistensi pencapaian standar kualitas konstruksi.
