Meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui live quiz di kelas VIII.7 SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar

Abstract


Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran, terkhusus di mata pelajaran Matematika yang kerap dipandang sulit bagi siswa. Salah satu alternatif meningkatkan motivasi belajar adalah melalui pemanfaatan media digital interaktif, seperti live quiz, yang dapat membangun suasana belajar menyenangkan dan memicu keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana dan seberapa besar peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII.7 di SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar melalui pemberian live quiz dalam materi Persamaan Garis Lurus. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart dengan dua siklus dan dua pertemuan per siklus. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket motivasi belajar yang diberikan di prasiklus, akhir siklus I, dan akhir siklus II. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 19 siswa yang mengikuti seluruh siklus secara penuh. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar, terlihat dari perilaku siswa yang lebih tekun, aktif bertanya, berdiskusi, dan antusias mengikuti live quiz. Peningkatan rata-rata motivasi belajar dari prasiklus ke akhir siklus II adalah 11,8%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya.
