The publishing process involves several stages to ensure the quality and consistency of the article. This guide will lead you from preparation to publication.

Your Publishing Journey

Step 1: Read the Writing Guidelines Carefully
Before submitting your manuscript, ensure you have read and understood all the guidelines for authors.

Focus and Scope: Ensure your manuscript's topic aligns with the scope of the Trias Politika Journal, which is: The journal provides a crucial platform for high-quality, interdisciplinary research with a distinctive emphasis on the Global South. Its scope comprehensively covers five core areas: Political Science & Democratic Studies; Public Policy & Governance; Comparative Politics & Global Governance; Political Economy & Development; and Security, Conflict, and Human Rights.

Referencing System: Use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style for citations and bibliography.

Step 2: Ensure Submission Prerequisites
Ensure your manuscript meets the following prerequisites before entering the submission system:

Originality: The manuscript is an original work, has not been published before, and is not under review by another journal.

Topic Suitability: The manuscript's topic fits the journal's Focus and Scope.

English Language: The manuscript is written in good and correct English.

Manuscript Structure: The manuscript is prepared according to the template, which generally includes: Title, Abstract (in English), Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and Bibliography.

Step 3: Prepare Your Manuscript for Submission
At this stage, ensure all files and metadata are ready.

Manuscript File: Prepare the main manuscript file in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) that follows the template.

Metadata: Prepare information about all authors (full names, affiliations, and email addresses), as well as the abstract and keywords in English.

Step 4: Submit Your Manuscript Via the Online System
The Trias Politika Journal uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) for the submission and review process.

Log in or register for a new account if you don't have one.

Follow the 5 submission steps available in the OJS system (Start, Upload Submission, Enter Metadata, Confirmation, and Next Step).

Upload your manuscript file and fill in all requested metadata completely and accurately.

Step 5: Understand the Review & Post-Submission Process
After the manuscript is submitted, you can monitor its progress through your OJS account.

Editorial Process: The manuscript will first be checked for suitability by an editor (editorial review).

Double-Blind Peer Review: If it passes the editorial stage, the manuscript will be sent to a minimum of two peer reviewers. This process is double-blind, meaning the identities of the author and reviewers are kept confidential.

Review Result: The review outcome can be: Accepted, Accepted with Revisions, or Rejected. You will be notified via email and can view the decision letter along with reviewer comments in your OJS account.

Revisions: If revisions are requested, prepare a response letter that explains point-by-point the improvements you have made based on the reviewers' suggestions.

Step 6: After Manuscript Acceptance
If your manuscript is accepted for publication:

Proofreading: You may be asked to perform final proofreading of the manuscript that has been laid out by the journal team (galley proof).

Confirmation: Confirm your agreement that the manuscript is correct and ready for publication.

Publication: The manuscript will be published online on the Trias Politika Journal website. You will receive a notification when the article has been published.

Step 7: Promote Your Work
After your article is published, you can help increase its visibility.

Share: Share your article link on academic and professional networks such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ORCID, and social media.

Citation: Continuously monitor and cite your own work as well as the work of other researchers to build scholarly networks.
